$100 for 4 nights out of a month? - Sun, 8 May 2005 4:35pm

Yes, that's right.

Four 4 hr slots / month = 16 hrs /$100 = $6.25 Hr.
Can't get any cheaper than that for a nice room.

Reminds me of high-school math. - Mon, 9 May 2005 5:27pm

Actually Grand Sound. You should try going back to high-school math.

"16 hrs /$100 = $6.25 Hr." WRONG!

16 hrs/$100 = 0.16 hrs/$

I believe what you wanted to say was.....

100$ / 16 hrs = 6.25 $/hr

Now go back to school! - Mon, 9 May 2005 9:50pm

Buy saying:
Four 4 hr slots / month = 16 hrs /$100 = $6.25 Hr.
I was phrasing that you get 16 hrs for $100.
NOT 16 / 100, 16 into 100, using the slash symbol as a literal division sign.

Glad your on top of all this, Math Teacher.

Why are we explaining all this, anyway? - Tue, 10 May 2005 7:08pm

Might not be worth $6.25. I herd from a band that used this place had there gear fucked with by other bands and when they decided to quit useing the place that the owner freaked out. Maybe thats why theres an opening now. - Wed, 11 May 2005 7:09pm

Your hilarious. Never happened.

This is the reason most real professional, competant musicians can never do any business or exchange services
on this board.

You don't have anything better to do? If you have any issues with my business, your welcome to take it up with me personally. 727-3946. - Fri, 13 May 2005 4:31pm

If i can say something. Grand Sound is LEGIT. If anyone fucked with anyones gear at that place, it means there was a Break and Enter! Each band has its own secure locker. Then on top of that it is a killer fuckin sweet room, with a kitchenette, couch, coffee table, bathroom, PA and its always clean.I guarantee you, this room is nicer than most of your own pads. You may have to deal with a remote controlled lawn mower, thats about it. For 6.25 an hour you are a fool not to take it. Also, it blows away any other room with regards to NO FUCKING STAIRS! - Fri, 13 May 2005 9:14pm

We used to jam there for a while, too. Our bassist bought a bass cabinet(or amp, I can't remember) off of Gord. Good place, we just wanted to jam more times in a week. Hey, Gord what's up? It was 5 years ago if you forget about us, it's ok. - Thu, 16 Jun 2005 10:40am
