I have a bass guitar that I seem to play pretty well. I'm looking for a group that's not hell-bent on making the big time. My job takes up most of the good gig nights right now, so I'd best be honest about that up front. I'm looking for a casual jam -- daytimes, certain evenings -- with the goal of simply playing, jamming, making music.

I'm 26, been playing around 10 years in many bands. Mostly rock and punk, though I'm open-minded about style. My dream would be a funky off-beat, off-time rock outfit. I have a good ear and can usually pick up on new stuff right away. I have a car, and a passable amp.

Is there anything out there for me? Any replies can be posted here (I don't like posting my e-mail) Thanks.. - Thu, 23 Dec 2004 7:32pm

Thanks for responding guys! First, I'm located near downtown.. sadly, I can't jam at my house.

That Pantera/Zepplin idea sounds interesting, yes.. I'd like to hear more.

And no, I haven't found a drummer yet. These responses are the only ones so far. I'll contact you all by e-mail. - Tue, 28 Dec 2004 4:59pm
