| The Other Nick User Info... | infernal hails from the interior of bc. \m/. things are pretty goofy out here. lots of cops around. i passed by some band up here in Vernon, playing on an outdoor stage at 3pm today. they had Iskraish "yat tat tat tat tat" vokills. i'm thinking...wait a second, theres more to bc music than vancouver and victoria. anyone know of any metal bands in bc, NOT in vancouver and victoria. im in the kelowna region. - Sat, 10 Jul 2004 8:53pm | ||
| ML7Mike User Info... | there used to be a whole bunch of metal bands in kelowna.. ML7 has played 2 all day metal fests in downtown Kelowna over the last couple of years, plus one in Oliver.. There were always local bands at both fests. Also were a few metal bands in Kamloops but not sure if they are still going. look at http://www.kickinthehead.com/ sometimes you can discover metal bands there from the interior area. Look for a band in Kelowna called Anger Management. They have more of a hardcore edge I think, but their singer is Steve Dreger from Victoria, and he knows most of the scene out there in regards to metal. Kelowna Metal fest was cancelled this year as the promoters husband is suddenly battling cancer. - Sun, 11 Jul 2004 11:12am | ||
