So, after years of soul searching and trying out this and that, looking for a career opportunity that suits my personality/lifestyle--and one that i kind of like--I finally came across some good advice.

"Do what you are," or something like that. And then it all seems so obvious. Music is what i listen to and music is what i play. And thought I'm not the best at what I do, I keep fuckin trying to get better and I don't see myself stopping till i drop.

Yea I know, "music as a career, that's a good one," and maybe I really will have to get a real job but I am serious about about getting this fucking ball rolling. It's worth a shot.

I am: 21
I have: a bass and a 140W amp that fizzles sometimes but it usually straightens out if you smack it around a bit.
I want: to play some oldschool punkrock or something at least fun to play and listen to but that doesn't reek of radio-friendly bullshit or sound so totally obscure as to not even be considered music, but still, a little weirdness is ok cause what's the point in sounding like everyone else? right?
I need: some like minded people to do this with that are sort of decent (like me) at what they do and dedicated, yet people who don't take themselves too seriously. "I am Mr. FUck of the Mountains! Listen to my soul crushing guitar riffs and be amazed!" fuck off. no one is going to care when you are 50 and fat. Least of all, me.

PS
If anyone has a hot mom with a basement who serves milk and cookies and let us make a lot of noise, that would be rad. I live in vic. - Sat, 12 Jun 2004 1:05pm

Fuck you. You're green jiggly monster just hypnotized me and wasted 5 minutes of my life. Nice post though, and good luck. If you get a band together, looks like it will rock somewhat. - Sun, 13 Jun 2004 3:03pm
