| kraft television theatre User Info... | I'm a young bassist (electric and acoustic) with plenty of playing/recording/touring experience looking for groups or individuals into performing dynamic, creative, spontaneous, deliberate music. I dig extreme and unique styles: rembetika, IDM, Tuvan throat singing, cabaret, forward-thinking jazz, appalachian folk, pop, klezmer, qawaali, tropicalia, gamelan, balkan styles, burmese, thai, cuban, hawaiian, etc. etc. I don't have any favourite artists except Charles Mingus. I like astonishing and rare instruments and sounds, proggy excesses, DIY ethics, crooning, humour. I dislike genre boundaries, insular music scenes, conservative politics, racism/sexism/homophobia (yes, even when used as jokes), adherence to dogma. I don't want to play with a band whose goal is to provide the members with sexual prospects or scene cred.
