It always amazes me that what people refer to as a jam,is actually different bands getting up and playing songs that they know, whereas a jam should really mean different people getting up and improvising and creating as they go!
I would love to see a return to "real" jamming.Just a thought! - Wed, 17 Mar 2004 1:15pm

Angel. I jam is not a venue you take a complete band and do 4-5 songs. What you are looking for is called a gig. - Wed, 17 Mar 2004 1:54pm

well you could use the jam to showcase your band so you can get a booking or two there. - Sun, 21 Mar 2004 4:57pm

There has been "real jams" so far. That's what I was setting out for Roger. Of course you can sit on here and complain it isn't good enough or come down and I'll personally get up with you and we'll create some shit. It takes some pretty skilled musos to get up and improvise and make it sound good. Unless your playing standardized blues or jazz and even that can be tricky at times. Well it's still going on and slowly growing every week so I think it should turn out to be some really good free entertainment. (- the price of beer)

Hope too see alot of you there
at one time or another
