| ticklefish User Info... | ummm...best or cheapest? Seriously, the range of options is massive, and it really depends on which of those two words is most important. How about a rough idea of how much you are willing to spend? What do you want to record? Just guitar? | Hendrix2Clapton User Info... | Cool Edit Pro Cakewalk Home Studio 2002 as for drums, either dish out the cash for a good drums machine or settle for cheap sounding drums. | ticklefish User Info... | Like I said, it totally depends on your budget. If you go can afford to go up to Sonar/Cubase SX, they come bundled with drum sequencers that use real samples, and although it takes a lot of work, a sequencer with real drum sounds can be made to sound very realistic, but the learning curve is fairly steep. You can also independently get drum sequencing programs/samplers and search the net for drum samples, there are a lot out there for free, but it takes time to find and preview them all. - Wed, 7 Jan 2004 7:03am | ||
